Happy Wednesday everyone and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! My gosh, there is so much to catch up on, but I wanted to jump back in with some of my favorite bloggers, Shay from Mix and Match Mama and Erika from A Little Bit of Everything, to link up in their “Let’s Look” topic.
Today’s topic: Things we outsource without regret.
I legit turned to my husband and said – there is not a lot that we outsource because I have a complex that we are capable of doing everything. He proceeded to then list some areas in the home I totally forgot about that I’m thankful to outsource!
Let’s start with the one we are currently utilizing:
SNOW PLOW SERVICE
We never have any regrets forking over this cash. It is worth every penny to wake up knowing our driveway is plowed, we can get out and no shoveling will need to be done. It’s a major timesaver!
COSTCO DELIVERY / GROCERY PICK UP
Zero. Absolutely zero regrets here. I CANNOT stand going shopping at Costco. It is the biggest waste of time and an ant hill constantly. Why is it always crowded?! I utilize their same day delivery service and this has been so incredibly helpful for me!
I also utilize pick up at other grocery stores a lot! Having someone shop for my grocery list is such a great thing, I notice I forget less because I’m able to focus and don’t feel rushed and I don’t have to worry rolling into the store with a bunch of kiddos in tow!
GUTTER CLEANING
I chuckle even though I shouldn’t… a couple years ago my husband tore his meniscus simply standing up on the roof while he was cleaning gutters. No joke. He just stood up and immediately knew he had messed up his knee because it was consistent with his meniscus tears from his football career. Surgery to repair it, six weeks no walking and a crazy recovery later – he vowed to never get up on that roof again! We now have a gutter guy come clean out all the tree debris every spring and fall!
BEE GUY
For the past several years we have a gentleman come spray our pool deck and vent up at the top of the house as we were having problems with bees entering our house – we found them entering through some holes in our bricks and in our bathroom from a vent in the attic! The bee problem, solved – and thank goodness for that!
EDGING, WEED-WHACKING, MULCH and FERTILIZER
We continue to use the same lawn care service that the previous owners did. It’s been very helpful in preventing weeds and dandelions from creeping into our grass.
After so much pushback, I finally gave into the idea of hiring a landscape crew to strictly edge, weed whack or lay mulch whenever needed. Andrew was so right on doing this. The landscapers come and trim in between my flower beds and my flower farm looks so great after it’s done! The crew just comes every other week and it has been the best money spent! The amount of time and strain on our bodies this job saves is so great!
I can’t wait to read other blogs! Love seeing what everyone put! If you want to comment on things you outsource with no regrets, I would love to hear about it below!

We don’t really outsource anything either (even the ones on your list we handle ourselves!). I’m going around reading everyone answers to see if it will jog my memory!
