Yippee for a LONG weekend! I hope you enjoy a nice relaxing weekend and are able to rest and reset!

Speaking of resetting – that is our new goal for this month

September Reset: Routines and Budgeting

Audrey will be attending Pre-K next week and it’s about time we button up our night time and morning routines. The past six months have been LAX to say the very least! You can check out our goals for a better routine here.

To make mornings go smoother, I plan on purchasing this alarm clock to help wake her up so we aren’t scrambling and harping at each other!

We are also looking forward to resetting our budget. Summer is a wild time, so we are excited to do our savings challenge again!

Since food and eating out spending IS ALWAYS our overspend culprit – I plan set a limit as to how much we will spend at the grocery store. I used to pull out cash and put it in an envelope labeled food/grocery. Once the cash was out, we were done for the month (or at least conscious to not overspend by a long shot!). Since cash is not accepted everywhere, I have to switch this up and use my card. I plan to set weekly limits on grocery/food and challenge ourselves to stay under every week!

Birthday Celebration for our Sweet Girl!

Audrey turned FIVE this week – HOW on earth did that happen?! Ugh, time is just flying on by, but we have really enjoyed watching her learn and grow! It is crazy to look back at pictures and videos to see how she was acting this time last year or even see how much bigger she got – sad, yes – but pretty neat to watch!

Thrifty Thursday!

Another fav this week! I finally hung up this $2 garage sale frame – instead of adding the normal B&W photos I do throughout this room, I DIY’d this silhouette art project and am OBSESSED!!

Visiting my Grandma is always a favorite! We haven’t been over in a while and I know we all enjoy when we get together! She celebrated her 91st birthday yesterday so on Wednesday we brought over some donuts and flowers to celebrate!!

Swim time!

Enjoyed some time in the pool to wrap up summer! I have a feeling we will be in there a bunch this weekend too!

We enjoyed a night swim too, but all didn’t want to leave the water because it was so nice and warm!

Still loving these neutral bracelets I DIY’d!

We enjoyed a “night out” (with the kiddos) before my husband heads out for a friends trip! There is nothing better than sitting out on a patio, an ice cold draft beer and yummy eats to ring in the long weekend!
