In true February fashion – this month is FLYING by! As I mentioned earlier this week, I’m trying to blog when I can.
This week, we had our false spring. This happens every year and I think it happens to give us just a little more optimism that warmer and brighter days are ahead and that we can survive a little more winter. This winter has been a brutal one though.
Of course, I’m linking up with some of my favorite bloggers to share some favorites from the week!

Local favorite
Andrew and I went on a date – the Candlelight concert series. It was Lord of the Rings inspired (Andrew’s favorite movies) and they had a string quartet performing. The venue, the Maltz Performing Arts Center, was gorgeous – we couldn’t believe how stunning the architecture was.

Fav foodie from the week
I made chicken gnocchi soup this week and it was a definite fav!

Favs from the week
Well, the weather this week had us feeling good! The kids enjoyed a lot of time outside playing and I was able to get out and clean up some things as well. Always happy to be out in the yard!
Lent has begun, and it’s always a great reminder to reflect, challenge and improve ourselves during this time.
The kids decided to make a mansion fort in our front room. It took everything in me to be okay with this, ha! I allowed them to keep it up for a bit, but am really happy to have my front room, all my dining room chairs and pillows back where they belong!

The beauty of this time of year is always a favorite.

I was able to help out in Tommy’s classroom for their Valentine’s Day party and enjoyed it so much!

This girl got creative with her friends at a crafting space in town! They made Valentine’s day bunting – I love its new home in our family room!

A dentist appointment for this crew meant a coffee shop date after!

Fav outfit from the week
This vest gave spring vibes this week!

Favorites from the Garden
Seeds are growing! I was able to get my hands on some flowers the past couple weeks and play again!

I also launched my dahlia tuber sale! If you are interested in growing these gorgeous flowers, feel free to stop by my shop!

I think we could do with a false spring here, the wet, gloomy weather is getting me down!
Those Candlelight concerts are fab! I went to a Whitney Houston one last year! Yum to the chicken gnocchi soup and what fun for the kids to make a fort.
