Good morning and happy FRIDAY! Well, we got clobbered with snow yesterday and stayed nice and cozy at home (what a blessing) as the kids had a snow day!

Local favorite

This was a couple weeks ago, but I’m gunna still include it, The Cleveland Botanical Gardens. We went during our staycation and all the decorations were just stunning!

We really enjoyed our time together there!

Fav foodie from the week

Literally anything was a fav food item this week as I attempted an72 hour fast. I made it 43 hours and was pretty proud of that.

For real though, it’s soup and casserole season! Obv our favs over here – nothing has changed.

Oh, one thing I forgot – we visited my sister in law in Pittsburgh and this was quite a twist on brunch! Cheddar pierogi with pork, a runny egg and some yummy sauce!

Favs from the week

The snow day was the highlight of our week! We spent the day lounging, reading magazines, playing in the snow and made some chocolate covered strawberry hearts!

Watching Tommy at basketball practice was just so cute!

We went to Pittsburgh this past weekend to visit my SIL and just had the best time with family! Her place was so cozy and welcoming and we all loved spending time together! She took us to her favorite brunch spot (where the pierogi was from), we visited Mount Washington and had floor seats to the Pitt basketball game! We even made it on the jumbotron too!

I was able to get out and enjoy some warmer weather and sunshine this week at my favorite walking spot!

We loved the sunrise we saw one morning this week!

Lastly, the kids have been playing “church” – they are so creative and it was really spot on!

My SIL did gift me this Free People vest, and I love it! It’s super oversized but very lightweight.

Favorites from the Garden

I was able to get out and remove all the old plants and clean up my garden beds a bit!

Seed starting is next on my radar – I can’t believe it’s that time already!
