Just in time before summer comes to a close, I’m sharing our weekend edition day in the life! I’m particularly happy to share because it was a Tommy’s birthday and we can look back and see how it was spent! We are having a joint birthday party with him and Audrey soon, but for now we kept if real real chill.

Slept in and heard this little TWO year old stirring!

We moved downstairs to make some breakfast and step outside and water some plants!

Came back to sit and have a little coffee and watch the kiddos play in the gazebo! It was already 75 degrees outside!

Next I showered, got ready for church and packed all the things we needed for the football game Audrey was cheering at!

After church we placed a lunch order at one of our favorite restaurants, got changed in the car and waited for our order!

YUMMMMMM!

Chicken hummus plate with a side of rice for me! So refreshing, we all ate lunch on the way!

Arrived at the stadium and the cheerleaders got situated!

Not 5 minutes in to us arriving, Tommy was swarmed by a bunch of bees. He had spilled lemonade on his outfit and the bees caught a wiff of it! We had to strip him down, wash his clothes in the bathroom and let them dry out.

The bees could still smell it on his clothes, but at least they were staying away from him!

It was SOOOO HOT out on the field, but the girlies were doing good!

We had to hang under the stands because every time we stepped into the sun, I swear a bee would try and crawl on Tommy….

The cheer coaches decided to call the game at half, thank goodness!! Donuts and juice boxes for the little squad!

Back in the AC and headed home!

Back home and tried to get the boys down for naps…unsuccessful.

Placed an Aldi grocery order

We had family coming over to swim and eat dessert around 6, so I started to get the house cleaned up!

A little while later – bathroom and kitchen cleaned and play room cleaned as best I could.

Then it was time to prep the dessert! One of my favorite summer desserts! First up whipped cream…

Then my strawberries in syrup!

I had a store bought angel food cake, so the dessert was complete for now!

The kiddos played outside for a little, Tommy still shirtless, ha!

Then we FINALLY got into the pool!

Quick swim and back into my church dress to pick up groceries!

Back home to unload groceries, just in time for family to arrive!

We ate, played, swam!

Then it was time for birthday cake!

Happy Birthday to our baby!!!

Ugh, time flies…

Little man loved the angel food cake so much, he pulled the rest for himself, ha!

After the party wrapped up, we FaceTimed with our other little nephew, poor guy couldn’t come because he was feeling under the weather. So sweet!

Then it was pajamas, toothbrushing and BED! I would say this gang is beat! haha!
