Day in the Life – October ’22

Happy, happy Thursday! Sharing a day in the life of us from LAAASSST Thursday! I always laugh, I normally have these posts planned in advance and when I woke up reminded to take pictures I thought – yikes, this is going to be a doozy of a day! But, that’s life I guess so I’m sharing it!

As I always mention, these are my absolute favorite posts! I love looking back on these to see how things have changed/stayed the same/what was happening and I really love reading other bloggers DIL posts too (I’m nosy like that!).

Okay, let’s jump into this crazy weird Thursday!

Good morning!

Time to wakey!

Downstairs to let this girly out!

On this particular day, JP was bringing in a birthday treat for his class. His birthday was on Sunday and he doesn’t go to school until Wednesday – then I ended up forgetting I was going to do that until he reminded me after school Wednesday soo Thursday it is!

Before heading out to Dunkin’ – I got everything together for Audrey – school wise.

I also got the lunch order form finalized!

Then out the door to snag some munchkins! Of course my little munchkin pup joined me! This particular morning was FREEZING! Hat on…

Got the donuts – now back home to wake the kiddos!

This girl wound up in our bed somehow?!

Then back downstairs to get lunch put together for Audrey and do all the things just to make it out the door!

We had a super stressful morning and were running so late – I tell you what – sometimes these kids move so SLOW! Dropped them off just in time and took a deep breath as a drove away – sheesh!

This girl always misses the kiddos

Was loving the tree colors this particular morning!

Back at home to find this guy watching some TV! Andrew had a coffee meeting this particular morning and was working from home the rest of the day – so Tommy was able to avoid drop off duties!

Andrew already made him breakfast so it was time for mine and time to sit down and get my life together!

Then up to tackle this and some laundry before heading out for Yoga!

My little helper!

Okay, all done – at this point I tossed on my workout clothes and sprinted to get into the car because apparently time management was not my thing today!

Didn’t snag a picture in class, but finished that excellent session and headed down to pick up Tommy from the child care room so we could enjoy some open swim!

Every other Thursday I have a chiropractor appointment following class, but this week we could swim – he’s been begging to do it again! We just took our gym account off hold – they allow us to hold for 4 months (I hold it all summer long because we are busy playing outside at the house!)

Ready to splash around! The equipment turned on right after I took this! Enjoyed that time with my little guy then it was time to pack up and get home for lunch!

Called my Mom on the way home!

I told him I was making me PB vanilla protein smoothie, but he requested strawberry. So I let him help!

He had no fun at all. One smoothie down – one to go

We enjoyed the smoothies then made the second half of lunch!

Jelly sandwich and cucumbers for him…

Salad kit for me!

YUM!

I had the boys take out the recycle

Then it was up to bed for this little guy!

Reading our recent library finds before nap!

Then I left him to it!

I went back downstairs and made some phone calls I had been putting off. Got disconnected 3 times and had to wait in queue each and every time so that chewed up my afternoon.

Next I headed out to grab some cut flowers and put some arrangements together for the market up the road!

And done!

I loaded up the flowers and doggy and to school pick up we went!

Got the goods!

Headed to the fruit farm to drop off my flowers!

Then back home to unload book bags, do homework and have a snack

The kiddos got their school pictures back and I just love them.

I went on to finish a couple to do’s around the house including emptying the dishwasher – then we got everyone ready to go to test out the car that was shipped in for my husband! After he has guzzled through gas and spent a small fortune going into work – we figured enough is enough. It was time for me to take the explorer (our new family car)

The kiddos proceeded to get the royal treatment! The workers were so incredibly kind!

After giving the car a test drive we were all in! Paperwork to be filled out, etc. etc. So I took the kiddos to a celebratory dinner at…

Your’s Truly! We love Your’s Truly haha!

We got a picture that Dad was on his way!

He arrived just in time for dinner to be served and we were out of there to get back home for baths and bed!

Sis has reading homework every night so we read some Amelia Bedelia – snuggled with our girl and it was off to bed!

I hopped into bed and worked on some invite related stuff while watching the show Welcome to Wrexham.

I’m assuming I fell asleep around 11? I honestly passed out sitting up so who knows, ha! And there you have it! A crazy, random, exciting – day in the life of us!
