Good morning and happy Friday!! Enjoying some gorgeous summer weather! I’ve been all about it – you can find us outside ALWAYS this time of year!

Favs from the week!

Played “hooky” on a Friday and hit up the coolest park.

Had some pool time!

Hit up three birthday parties in one day!

Including a meeting from the ACTUAL Brown’s mascot! I love my bestie haha!

Then celebrated the best Grandpa/Dad/FIL!

This candle has been burning all week! Absolute FAVORITE SCENT!

I used to journal EVERY day as a kid – from 3rd – 6th grade. I pulled out the journals to see what I wrote about 9/11 – cannot believe it has been 20 years.

So crazy, my ten year old self writing about it.

I am hoping Audrey, JP and T would journal someday. It was really cool to go back and read what I did every day! What I love is that it involved playing – I was ALWAYS out playing and I hope my kiddos will be the same way. Imagination and outside play are just so important!

It was also funny I found the exact day one of my best friends played for the first time – so we just celebrated our 20 year friendship anniversary 🙂

Fav Foodie of the week…

Chicken Tortilla soup (sans tortillas) – this was delish!

Pork tenderloins are an absolute favorite dinner around here! Served with Costco sticky rice and a salad, YUM!

My new fav has been making a snack board for the kiddos after Audrey gets off the bus. I really want to focus on eating right around here and getting the kids used to eating other healthy foods. They already LOVE fruits and veggies, so I want to continue serving that and not just junk when they get home!

In the Garden this week…

The sunnies are starting to pop!

Same with all the other beds!

Bouquets are getting more and more colorful!

Oh, I am waiting on a big tulip bulb order! Cannot wait to figure out how I will do that!
