Fall Home Tour 2020

Good morning and happy Wednesday! In honor of the second day of fall, I’m sharing a little home tour of how I decorate our house for fall! Hope you enjoy our little tour and feel inspired to get a start on your fall decorating as well!

Our first day of fall included a pumpkin patch, donuts and apple fritters from our local apple orchard, hot coffee, a playground!

First off, how gorgeous was this last day of summer sunset?! Ugh, I’m going to miss you summer – but fall is such a beautiful time of year too!

First Day of Fall Activities!

As I mentioned, a coffee, an apple fritter, donuts and a playground – yes please!

We snagged some pumpkins and indian corn at a pumpkin patch nearby – their prices are always the best!

Front Porch Tour!

I LOVE the colors of these mums up against the brick with our house! I also have blue and greens in our pillows and cushions on our wicker chairs out front and reds and oranges are complimentary colors to that – no wonder why it pops!

Just a friendly reminder to make sure you are going through and deadheading your mums! Pop off any spent flowers to promote new growth on your plant for continuous blooming all fall long!

Lanterns were $5.99 from Aldi and also came in white

Door mat from Aldi as well – I love the colors of the rug against our house!

Mums I got for $2.97 from Aldi at the beginning of the season – such a great price!

Throwing in a picture of my favorite fall nail colors! Can’t wait to share my fall nail post next week!

Indoor Tour!

I pulled out my bins from last year and was able to decorate the house with all those goodies! The only thing new were two foam pumpkins from Aldi – one was burlap and one in a buffalo check print!

Starting in the kitchen…

This was the first thing I decorated – my September coffee stand

This tiered stand sits right near our mudroom – so I filled it with some fall goodies!

Still working to perfect this centerpiece, but not bad so far! I got the faux wood container from a garage sale this summer!

Our Family Room

This summer mantle was looking pretty bare!

AFTER!

These pumpkins I purchased from Walmart last year! I haven’t been in store to see if they have these back, but they were very inexpensive and they are awesome to have to put anywhere around the house (especially do not need to worry about the kids breaking them!)

This mantle “garland” was from Big Lots last year and I love how it brings in all the colors of our family room!

Have a great day everyone!

So many cute fall touches all throughout the home. I really enjoy seeing everyone’s tiered trays and keep thinking I should get one myself but somehow I never do and I honestly don’t know what I’d put on one.
