Sharing a little life lately with our crew! It’s been busy busy busy, but we are enjoying ever minute of it!

What’s New from the Crew…

We’ve really been enjoying lots of family time! I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I am very selective about what activities I’m putting the kids in. They are still so little and I know things will get CRAZY busy soon (even though I feel we are already running around!).

We enjoyed some of the very last pool days and I know I’m really gunna miss that!

Audrey has been doing soccer and enjoying it! She is extremely competitive and it’s fun to watch how into it she is!

Audrey loves to draw and is really good at it! She got a lot of art stuff for her birthday and has been using all of it! She is creative just like her Auntie Rach! It’s fun to watch!

Audrey has been reading SO much better too – I’ve really enjoyed our night time routine of reading in her bed!

JP is NUTS about trucks. We will stop by construction sites and park to watch for a little and he is ALWAYS on the lookout for trucks when we’re on the road. He has a great imagination and will build awesome construction sites at home with legos and linkin logs.

JP has been enjoying school and “hot lunch”! It is often the highlight of his day!

I do enjoy having JP home with me two days a week. I really want to utilize this time together because next year he starts all day everyday school with big sis. These days and weeks are so limited!

Tommy is also truck obsessed. These two have fun together, but a lot of times I find them wanting what the other is playing with. I would say 80% of the time they do well playing, but the remaining 20% results in me refereeing non-stop.

It is nice, the boys have been able to bond while Audrey is at school! I found them napping together the other day!

Tommy has been enjoying our days together with just him and I. We do like trips to the library – he loves the lego table and it’s a nice change of scenery!

Nellie is nearly 9 months and honestly a total sweetheart. We couldn’t imagine life without our little lady! She sleeps under our bed every night (has been sleeping upstairs since we brought her home), she LOVES playing with the neighbors dogs and really has understood her boundaries in this house. She is an excellent listener and so sweet with the kids. She has treated the house with respect so I have given her a lot of freedom. If she breaks the rules a “puppy timeout” is given, which she seems to understand. She is a total people pleaser so that strategy seems to work well. The Bernedoodle is such an incredible breed and we are thrilled with our decision to bring her home!

What’s new from the closet…

We went from HOT to not in a matter of days and have had some chilly weather stick around for the past week and a half. I’ve been reaching for my transitional pieces and forgot home much I love a cozy sweater or over-sized sweatshirt.

I also love this hat and may or may not add appliqués to it?!

What’s new from the kitchen…

I’ve been cooking a lot more since school is back in session. I LOVE easy meals and recently made an easy ranch breaded chicken in the air fryer. 10 minute meals are my jam!

What’s new in the house…

Well, I finally cleaned our basement (praise hands!) that was great to check off the to-do list!

It’s also time to start working through our fall home maintenance checklist. Here’s an example of my spreadsheet. I wrote about what we do a couple years ago.

What’s new in the garden….

Lots of blooms and lots of bold colors! My garden needs to get through one more week of subscriptions! Fingers crossed we don’t see a frost!

I’m in love with these mums and look forward to overwintering them!
